Today, our school community gathered in the chapel to celebrate a special Advent Mass. We were delighted to be joined by Father Sean, who led the service and helped guide us through this reflective and meaningful time in the Church calendar.
The Mass included prayers thoughtfully read by our students, who took great care and confidence in contributing to the service. Their involvement helped create a calm and prayerful atmosphere, encouraging everyone present to pause and reflect during this season of Advent.
The service was enjoyed by all and was enhanced by some beautiful singing, which filled the chapel and added to the sense of togetherness. It was a lovely occasion that brought students and staff together in a peaceful setting, reminding us of the importance of reflection, hope, and community at this time of year.
New altar server Lenah said, “I got to help the priest and the deacon do some tasks in the mass like ring the bell. I felt happy. It felt strange at first to wear my new altar server robes but I got used it. I’d like to help altar serve again at the next school mass.”
We are grateful to Father Sean and all those who helped make the service so special.
