Pupil progress is tracked using the strategies listed below, we have introduced the MAPP progress tracking system to assess all aspects of student’s development. Form teachers write personalised SMART targets for each student in reading, writing, maths, speech language and communication and personal development. Pupil progress reviews are held termly and, as part of on-going review, staff quickly identify any necessary changes to a pupil’s curriculum provision to ensure their on-going success. The information from the student’s pupil progress reviews informs how the student is progressing against their longer term EHCP outcomes.
